Sugarpill Cosmetics Opening and Haul

Hey Ghouls;
I purchased some Sugarpill items from their online webstore about two weeks ago and they arrived yesterday which is amazingly fast from American to here in Australia especially since we have all those airline strikes going on.
I had wanted to buy a heap of their products at the beginning of the year, unfortunately the sweetheart palette was out of stock and didn't come in until the start of October.
The box it was delivered in is adorable; now i know i don't have a youtube channel where i post videos of me opening the box for the first time but i will say that as i am writing this i am opening the box for the first time
.
In total i ordered three products which cost i believe $80 dollars because they have free international shipping on orders over $75 which i wanted to take advantage of. I got both of their palettes, the burning heart and the sweetheart and a loose pigment which they call a 'Chroma Lust' in 'Goldilux' which i had seen many times before on tutorials and reviews and just had to grab for myself.
The box was a white delivery box with the Sugarpill logo and cartoon cat (with pill) on the top in blue. Inside was a flurry of pink tissue paper that housed my products.

The two palettes were encased in very cute boxes with 'addicted to pretty' (the collection name) written in a cursive font down the bottom and a almost Harajuku girl to one side. The palettes themselves once slid out of the box are black with a silver sugarpill logo and a pink crowned love heart featuring the medical cross in the middle on the top. Vines extend from the heart to the edges of the lid. The back again features the 'addicted to pretty' text and the sugarpill kitty (this time in full color) as well as the name of the palette and pictures of the four eyeshadow pans included inside.

We'll start with the Sweetheart palette that has in order:
Dollipop - a bright hot pink that has a cooler toned feel about it.
Afterparty - a very bright neonish blue, the website describes this as a turquoise however in my pan (it could very well be my lighting) it doesn't seem to have that much of a turquoise colour.
Midori - Bright middle toned green, closer to the side of emerald however not that dark. It also has some sheen within its colour.
Tako - The white pigment in the collection.

The Burning Heart palette includes the colours:
Flamepoint - Bright warm orange tone, not favoring either of the yellow or redder tones.
Buttercupcake - A bright yellow, somewhat sunflowery and warm.
Love + - A deep red pigment, just slightly darker than a traditional rock-a-billy retro red that has some sheen to it.
Poison Plum - A deep but bright purple color, the website is very apt in calling this colour 'dramatic'; This colour also has some sheen to it.

Each of these  are pressed eyeshadows and are avaliable separately. The only pressed shadow colour that does not feature in a either palette is 'BulletProof' which is Sugarpill's black.

The Chroma Lust loose eyeshadow comes packaged in a box, with a love heart window on the front to reveal the color of your chosen shade. The design covers four sides, leaving the bottom black to display the name of the shade, the ingredients and the 'Vegan and Cruelty Free' promise which again you should know is very important to me.
The back is bright pink with the text:
"Glamorous sparkling loose eyeshadows that outshine them all! These ultra-fine metallic powders combine show-stopping color with adhesive elements for long-lasting wear."
The design that covers the rest of the box is blue with black lace around the bottom and the design from the palettes (heart with crown and medical cross) in white and pink.
The jar of product feels really thick and good quality compared to some of the other ones i've purchased the lid is black with the design from the palettes on the top and the identification sticker on the bottom.
The colour i chose was the infamous 'Goldilux' which i desperately wanted to try because of a review from TheMakeupDinosaur claiming that this was the ultimate gold pigment. I have to agree; the colour in the jar is just amazing a perfect gold that does not seem too brown and coppery or too yellowy orange. It's just gold and as a painter i know how hard it is to mix a colour this true, i'm not too sure how mixing the color in eyeshadow goes but if it's anything similiar this colour is an amazing feat.

Along with my products i also receieved a sample pack and this is really cute, the samples i've received before this have just been in either a bag or jar but Sugarpill has a class and style in everything they do so your sample arrives in a little fold of card with the Sugarpill logo and cat, pink stripes in the background and blue lace across the bottom with a little love heart window to see the color through, inside is your sample bag and if you lift it up underneath you will see the colour identification sticker.
In my package i got a sample of 'Magentric' which is a metallic magenta color that seems to sparkle a little bit more purplish blue in the light. The website describes it as a turquoise sheen.

Sugarpill also included a free sticker which i've seen can be either teal or pink. I recieved a teal one and it is going straight into my box of memories and such, i also got a, i guess i'll say business post card which features some of the models from their site and the website address, facebook and twitter.

That is the end of my Haul/Opening.
Until Next time.
