Urban Decay Primer Review

Hey Ghouls;
I have been asked by a few people to review some of the make-up (and other) products i am partial to use and own.  I figured the best place to begin would be with a 'Primer'.
For those who don't know a Primer is a base-coat substance used to prepare a surface for the top coat.
In make-up Primers are not only used to create smooth surfaces but to create a layer that reduces the amount of wipe-off and increases the length of time your make-up will remain intact.

The Range of Eyeshadow Primer Potions

Although there are a lot of Primers out there the one that i use is: Urban Decay Primer

In this post i will only be reviewing the eyeshadow primer, though my order of Urban Decay Lip Primer and Eyelash Primer is on it's way. The product i will not be reviewing out of the Primer range is the foundation primer; i am not partial to creme foundations.

There are a range of the eyeshadow primers, however the one that i will be focusing on is the 'original' (pictured: left). The original primer is matte skin color, it adds no extra glow and blends in to next to any light skin tone.
The others that are available are created to blend in to dark skin tones and others add glows (for the full range check the website).

You apply the primer with the application brush that is curved slightly to allow easy application over the crease in your eyelid. I find the brush too hard to properly blend with so i apply and then gently blend with my finger. Then apply the desired, eyeliner, eyeshadow and/or glitter. There isn't too much to say about the appearance, and no real visual example so I'll give you my personal opinion and example of my personal experience with the product.

I applied the primer at seven pm before heading out clubbing. I'm not too sure about any of you but I'm a dancer, i get up i dance ergo i sweat. I don't tend to look in the mirror too much while I'm out but what i can tell you is that the next morning when i woke up, (yes it even survived a restless nights sleep) my eyeshadow was still applied, faded and a little smudged around the edges but still rather vibrant.
I honestly suggest that if you are an energetic person who enjoys make up then this should be your Primer, even if you just need long lasting make up that can be put through a lot then you should look no further than Urban Decay, especially as it comes in so many different varieties.

Ashiie Imperfect xx
